Quotes and scope

Every project is quoted as a fixed price against a written scope before work begins. That quote stays valid for 30 days unless it says otherwise. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately and never added to an invoice without your agreement first.

Revisions

Revisions are included as stated in your quote. A revision means refining the direction you have chosen. Changing to a new direction after one has been approved is new work, and we will say so before doing it rather than afterwards.

Payment

Unless your quote says otherwise, work is invoiced on completion and payable within the terms on the invoice. Ongoing services such as care plans and retainers are invoiced monthly in advance and can be cancelled by either side with reasonable notice.

No fix, no fee on repair work

For diagnostic and repair jobs advertised as no fix, no fee, you do not pay for a fix we could not deliver. It does not cover work you later decide you did not want, problems introduced after handover by someone else, or costs charged by third parties such as your host.

Your responsibilities

We need timely access, content and feedback to hit any timeline. Delays in those shift the dates, and we will tell you when that happens. You confirm you have the right to use any logos, images, text or fonts you give us.

Ownership

On final payment, ownership of the final deliverables created for you transfers to you, including source files where the quote says so. We keep ownership of our own tools, templates and working methods. Third-party assets such as stock images, fonts and plugins remain under their own licences, and we will tell you which ones your project depends on.

Portfolio

We may show completed work in our portfolio and case studies. If your project is confidential, tell us and we will keep it out or anonymise it.

What we do not promise

Nobody can guarantee a search ranking, a position in an AI assistant's answer, a conversion rate or a sales figure, and we will not pretend otherwise. We promise the work described in your quote, done properly, and honest reporting on what it did.

Liability

Our liability for any claim relating to a project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits. Nothing in these terms excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Cancellation

You can stop a project at any time. You pay for the work completed to that point and you keep what has been delivered. If we have to stop, we will tell you why and refund anything paid for work not done.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
