STOP DREADING THE DAY
YOUR SITE BREAKS AGAIN.
Updates applied carefully, backups you can actually restore, security watched, uptime checked and someone to call. Handled every month so you can get on with running the business.
Care and maintenance
THE CHEAPEST FIX IS THE ONE YOU NEVER NEED.
Nearly every rescue job we take on was preventable. An update applied with no restore point. A backup that lived on the same server as the site. A plugin abandoned by its developer two years ago that nobody noticed. None of it is dramatic until the day it is.
A care plan is the unglamorous version of that story. Updates applied carefully with a restore point first and a check afterwards. Backups kept off the server and actually tested. Security watched rather than assumed. Uptime monitored so you hear about problems from us, not from a customer.
It is also the cheap version. One monthly number, quoted after we look at what you have, against the cost of an emergency and a week of a site being down.
THE SIGNS YOU NEED THIS FIXED.
If any of these sound like your situation, this is the right page.
Scared to press update
Because last time something broke and nobody knew why.
No reliable backups
Or backups that live on the same server as the site they are meant to save.
Security left to chance
No monitoring, no hardening, and an admin password from 2019.
No time to maintain it
It is nobody's job, so it quietly becomes everybody's problem.
Plugins years out of date
Each one a published vulnerability waiting for a scanner to find it.
Nobody to call
When it does go down, the first hour is spent working out who to ring.
EXACTLY WHAT IS INCLUDED.
No vague scope. This is what you get for the number on the quote.
Updates applied carefully
Core, theme and plugins updated with a restore point first and the site checked afterwards.
Offsite backups
Stored away from the server, tested, and yours to take with you.
Security monitoring
Watching for file changes, new admin accounts and the signals that precede a compromise.
Uptime checks
You hear it from us before you hear it from a customer.
Performance tune-ups
Caches, images and the database kept in order rather than left to drift.
Priority support
A real person who already knows your site, instead of a ticket queue.
The honest technical bit
WHAT USUALLY CAUSES THIS.
Written out properly, because the cause decides the price and most quotes skip it.
Updates are not the risk, unattended updates are
Leaving WordPress to update itself in the middle of the night with no restore point is how sites break quietly. The same update applied with a backup and a check afterwards is routine.
Backups that have never been restored
A backup nobody has tested is a hope, not a plan. We take restore points we have actually restored, and we keep them off the server.
Abandoned plugins
Plugins stop being maintained and nobody notices until a vulnerability is published. Part of care is knowing what you are running and replacing what has been abandoned.
Drift
Caches fill, databases bloat, images pile up, and a site that was fast at launch is slow a year later without anything obviously breaking.
NO PLAN VS A CARE PLAN.
The difference shows up exactly once, on the worst possible day.
| No plan | Care plan | |
|---|---|---|
| Updates | Whenever someone remembers | Monthly, with a restore point |
| Backups | On the same server, untested | Offsite and tested |
| Security | Hope | Monitored, with hardening in place |
| When it breaks | You start looking for help | We already have access and context |
| Cost of a bad week | A rescue job | Covered by the plan |

HOW IT RUNS.
Four steps, and you can stop after the second one at no cost.

We look at the real site and write down what is actually wrong, before you have paid anything.
Fixed-price quote
One number, agreed before any work starts. If we cannot fix it, you do not pay for it.
Fixed, tested and handed back
The work done, tested, and a plain-English note on what changed and what to watch.
QUESTIONS, ANSWERED.
The ones people actually ask before they hand over a login.
What does a care plan actually cost?
It depends on the size of the site and whether it is a shop. We quote one monthly number after looking at what you have, and it does not change without you agreeing to it first.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time, and you keep your backups and your logins. A care plan that only holds you because you cannot leave is not worth selling.
Do you fix things that break, or just update?
Breakages caused by the routine work are covered. Separate problems, like a hack or a redesign, are quoted separately, and we will always tell you which one you are looking at.
Will you work with my current host?
Almost certainly. If the hosting is genuinely the problem we will say so and help you move, but we will not insist on it to make our life easier.
What if I already have backups through my host?
Good, and we will check they restore. Host backups are often the last thing anyone tests and the first thing that disappoints.
Do you need admin access permanently?
Yes, for a plan to be worth anything. The account is in your control and can be removed the moment you want it gone.
Is this only for sites you built?
No. Most care-plan sites were built by somebody else.
